Thats my hometown, my furusato (yeah, i was born there in Takamatsu). i walk out my front door and see Yashima every morning when i&#039;m there.  Udon is definitely the food of choice.  Kagawa-ken people are VERY picky about udon.  Bad shops don&#039;t stay in business long.  Your observations are similar to mine...young people are &quot;bored&quot; there (i know i get bored after a few days) there really isn&#039;t much to do there, its not like tokyo or osaka.
